Mary Akurugu Anabire

“I am a form 3 student at the Bolgatanga Senior High School and 18 years of age. I live with my stepmother at Nyariga having lost my father when I was still in basic school. My mother lives in Accra and earns a living washing dishes in a chop bar.

Though I gained admission into Bolgatanga Senior High School, my mother could not support me financially. Thankfully, I was selected as a beneficiary of the Eastwood Anaba Scholarship Scheme meaning that I do not have to worry about my upkeep throughout my senior high school education.

May the Lord bless all those who have made it possible for me to be in school”.
