Scripture Reading: Isaiah 40:1-31

Main Text:
Isaiah 40:29
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

A new wind will blow around the world which will make believers explode. The covid-19 pandemic which has engulfed the world is not powerful enough to stop the onslaught of the Body of Christ. We shall overcome it and explode.

Some situations make us faint and take our might from us. They are the challenges of the present hour — Fear. Hunger. Divorce. Bereavement. Joblessness. Failure. Sickness. Witchcraft. Persecution. Homelessness. Temptation (1 Corinthians 4:11). In the midst of the challenges of the present hour, we are not distressed, though troubled on every side; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed (2 Corinthians 4:8-9).

The prophet Isaiah succinctly captures the picture of believers who explode in Isaiah 40:29. The faint receive power. Our strength is renewed. (Isaiah 40:30-31).

Prayer: Pray against the spirit of suicide, and ask the Holy Ghost to give hope to people who have become suicidal.
