GO TO THEM
GO TO THEM was not a campaign, it was a commission. A reminder that Jesus Christ still walks the dusty roads through us. May we never forget the tears of the inmates, the laughter of the children, the gratitude of the aged, and the silent prayers answered in simple gestures.
At every stop, the Gospel was not only preached, it was lived. Hands were held, prayers were said, and hope was restored. Smiles lit up faces weathered by pain, and hearts long forgotten felt remembered again. It wasn’t just an outreach; it was an outpouring of love.
One unforgettable moment was when Pastor Eastwood, our Diakonos, humbly knelt before the inmates at the Bolgatanga Police Station, urging them to turn over a new leaf. It was a solemn moment as tears flowed freely and the inmates prayed the sinner’s prayer with broken hearts and open hands.
From there, the team moved to the Bolgatanga main lorry station, where food was shared with physically challenged individuals. We continued to Mama Lardi Children’s Home, spending quality time with the children, and finally concluded at LOAD (Life Out Of Alcohol and Drugs) Ghana. The joy on the faces of the guests as they welcomed Pastor Eastwood and Mama Rosemond was truly heartwarming.
To God be the glory.
