Theme: Unleashing the Power of Prayer
Topic: Jesus Christ Is Praying for your Sanctification
1 Peter 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Jesus Christ prays for your sanctification because He is the Bishop of your soul (1 Peter 2:25). As the Bishop of your soul, He is responsible for your life. He must ensure that you are clean enough to be in God’s presence and stand blameless in judgement.
Jesus Christ provides complete ministry to you – He bore your 5sins in His own body on the Cross, healed you by His stripes and brought you back into fellowship with God.
The Bishop of your soul ensures that you are not tempted above what you can handle. He protects you from spiritual predators. The Bishop of your soul is committed to presenting you blameless to the Father.
