Month Theme: Release

Topic: The Wind of Release

Scripture Reading: John 3:1-11

Main Text:
John 3:8
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

The wind of the Spirit is a wind of release – it releases salvation, healing, deliverance and the power of the Holy Ghost. Nicodemus was not spiritually equipped to figure it out (John 3:7-11).

The working of the wind is the activity of the Holy Ghost to produce the effect of salvation, healing, deliverance and the power of the Holy Ghost.
1. THE WAY OF THE SPIRIT
“The wind bloweth where it listeth…”. The behaviour or movement of the Spirit (Proverbs 30:19). The wind of the Spirit will propel you.
2. THE WEIGHT OF THE SPIRIT
“…thou hearest the sound thereof…” The effect or impact of the Spirit – born of the Spirit (John 1:12-13). Just as the natural wind can carry things as it blows, the wind of the Spirit will carry your blessings to you.
3. THE WILL OF THE SPIRIT
“…so is every one that is born of the Spirit.” The mind of the Holy Ghost – He chooses whom He wishes to choose (Joel 2:28-29). You’re chosen, and there is nothing the enemy can do about it.

We may not know the way of the Holy Ghost but He releases our blessings (Ecclesiastes 11:5).

Prayer: Pray and command every wind of life blowing around you, to blow to your advantage.
