Month Theme: Release

Topic: The Power of Unity

Scripture Reading: Leviticus 25:1-15

Main Text:
Leviticus 25:10
10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.

The key to the Jubilee was the people responding to it in unity – throughout all the land and unto all the inhabitants (Leviticus 25:10). Disunity, greed, selfishness, etc. will deny as the joy of the Jubilee.

In the Jubilee, we must be united in three ways to possess our possessions.
1. RESPONSE
Everybody responded. It is dangerous for some people to refuse to respond the Jubilee. We must think the same way, speak the same words, feel the same way and sing the same songs. The walls of resistance collapse only when we respond together at once (Joshua 6:5).
2. RESPONSIBILITY
We must act decisively together at once. There must be no delayed execution of actions (Joshua 6:5). People with undecided minds must tune their minds to the broader vision.
3. RESTORATION
In the Jubilee, every man returned to his possession and his family. Their properties were restored to them. It is possible for everybody in a family, church or society to have their blessings restored to them (1 Samuel 30:22-25).

The early Church was not only united in word and in Spirit but also in possession – none of them lacked anything (Acts 4:32-35). We must be united to enter into our Jubilee.

Prayer: Pray for unity in your local church and in the Body of Christ.
