THE WORD SIROCCO

Month Theme: Explode
Topic: The Outcome of the Gospel
Scripture Reading: Mark 16:1-16
Main Text:
Mark 16:15
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Jesus Christ assured His disciples that when they preached the Gospel there would be outcomes. The outcomes were not only going to be positive but also negative. Those who believed the Gospel they preached would be saved but those who did not believe would be damned (Mark 16:15-16).
The word “damned” in the Mark 16:16 means to give judgement against, condemn, sentence. The word “saved” means safe, preserve, recover, restore, do well, deliver, protect from danger or destruction, rescue and whole. We are saved from:
1. SIN — Saved from the power and guilt of sin (Romans 6:14).
2. SATAN — (Revelation 12:11).
3. SICKNESS — (Mark 16:17-18).
4. SCARCITY — (Mark 10:28-30, Psalm 84:11, Psalm 37:25)
5. SEPARATION — Saved from separation from God – death and hell (Revelation 21:7–8).
Jesus Christ through the preaching of the Gospel saves believers to the uttermost (Hebrews 7:25). The word uttermost means all entire, full ended, completely and perfectly. We are saved wholly and completely – from sin, satan, sickness, scarcity and separation.
Prayer: Pray to God to raise more people in the Body of Christ who will preach the true Gospel of Christ.
