Month Theme: Holy Ghost

Topic: The Giver of Eternal Life II

Scripture Reading: John 14:1-26; Acts 2:1-10

Main Text:
John 14:16
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

In the part I of this topic, we learned that God created man and breathed into him to become a living soul. Jesus Christ is the source of eternal life (Romans 5:19-21). Jesus Christ gives eternal life through the Word of God and the Holy Ghost (John 3:5-6).

People find it difficult to believe that the Holy Ghost can transform them. It’s interesting some are afraid that a vaccine can change their DNA but they don’t believe that the Holy Ghost can transform them. You are born of the Spirit. It’s not by might, nor by power but by the Spirit of God (Zechariah 4:6).

Saul, before becoming king over Israel, received transformation (1 Samuel 10:5-7). His transformation came in a series of events:
1. The company — you will meet a company of prophets.
2. The copying — spirit will come upon you to prophesy.
3. The conversion — turned into another man.
4. The commitment — to a purpose as the occasion shall serve thee.
Like Saul, we have to trust God for a transformation to execute His purpose for our lives.

Prayer: Pray that the power of the Holy Ghost will overshadow any “inability” around you.
