Galatians 1:6
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
The Gospel in its pure form is simple and free of charge. It is easy. Jesus Christ paid the full penalty for our sins, sicknesses, curses and death. The blessing of the Gospel is too good to be true to the natural ear. It seems powerless. Such a simple message cannot be explosive according to the reasoning of the natural man.
Compromised and corrupted versions of the Gospel should be rejected by the Body of Christ (Galatians 1:6-9). The message of the cross is that Jesus Christ took our place in death and punishment.
• Righteousness — For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2 Corinthians 5:21).
• Blessing — Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: (Galatians 3:13-14).
• Healing — Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed (1 Peter 2:24).
• Rich — For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich (2 Corinthians 8:9).
The message of the cross is foolishness to those who perish but to us, it is the power of God (1 Corinthians 1:18).
Prayer: Ask God to raise more people in the Body of Christ who will preach the true Gospel of Christ.
