Month Theme: Explosion
Topic: The Day Must “Fully” Come
Scripture Reading: Acts 2:1-13
Main Text:
Acts 2:1
1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Jesus Christ told His disciples to wait (tarry) in the city of Jerusalem until they were “endued with power from on high.” (Luke 24:48-49). Waiting for the right time is a significant price to pay for the move of the Spirit.
The Holy Ghost fell on the disciples of Jesus Christ in the Upper Room on a particular day. The day on which this historic event occurred was the day of Pentecost. He did not arrive until the day of Pentecost was FULLY come (Acts 2:1-2). The day of Pentecost was not “partly come” or “mostly come” but “fully come”. Divine timing is not approximate. It is also not a guess work. It is exact. Accuracy is the hallmark of spiritual activity.
Time is the line of demarcation between true spiritual power and magic. Religious formalities are programmed by people’s wills but spiritual power is regulated by Heaven. Until the time or day fully comes, Heaven does not respond to the spiritual needs of the people on earth.
Prayer: Pray that you will always be in sync with God’s timing.
