Theme: Overcoming In the Evil Day
Topic: Rise Up Again
John 12:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
Falling into the ground, speaks of a period in one’s life when he is unknown and hidden from the view of the general public. It also speaks of a period of rejection, negative response, refusal, denial and denunciation in his life. You may be going through or might have gone through a similar period in life. The Word of the Lord to you today is “Do Not Worry. You Will Rise Again.”
Falling and remaining on the ground in battle is a sign of conceding defeat. When the seed falls into the ground it is hidden then it germinates and brings forth much fruit. Moses experienced this falling into the ground. He was rejected by his brethren when he first tried to minister to them (Exodus 2:12-15). He ended up in the wilderness for forty years. Joseph and his visions and dreams were utterly rejected (Genesis 37:4-11). He found himself as a slave, a prisoner in Egypt and then Prime Minister. John the Baptist had a flourishing ministry in the wilderness (Matthew 3:1). Jesus Christ was hidden for thirty years before He was exposed to public ministry (Luke 3:21-23).
Don’t allow discouraging moments to sink your ministry and life. Refuse to remain where you fell. Rise from the shame, rise from the sin, rise from the loss. You have the capacity to rise and bear much fruit. Do not concede defeat, for you can rise again.
