Theme: The Giving Grace
Topic: God Is No Respecter Of Persons 2
Romans 2:11
For there is no respect of persons with God.
Consider someone living in Texas, United States of America is given an instruction by God to build Him a temple, and a similar instruction is given to someone living in Bolgatanga, Ghana. God’s expectations for both will be the same – high standard. God does not lower His standards because of our excuses, He expects us to live up to His standards. God is the Most High, and so are His standards. In order to live up to them, you must go the extra mile.
God is no respecter of persons; their geographic location does not make Him change His mind about His expectation. It is the will of God that you prosper (3 John 1:2), but prosperity does not come on a silver platter, you need to put in effort. There were many Centurions in Caesarea, yet Cornelius was the only one the angel of God appeared to. Though a gentile, he was a devout man, feared God with all his house, gave much alms to the people and prayed to God always (Acts 10:1-3). He was not born again and without the baptism of the Holy Ghost, yet he did not give up prayer and godly living, you who are born again and baptized in the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in tongues cannot go below the standard.
During the baptism of Jesus Christ at the Jordan River, He was not only toeing the line but also praying. This caused the heavens to be opened unto Him (Luke 3:21). Never use your geographic location as an excuse, because God doesn’t have an address. You must strive to accomplish the task God has given you in the way He wants.
Prayer Assignment:
1. Pray that your mind will be renewed and that you will overcome all excuses in accomplishing God’s will for your life.
