Month Theme: Release

Topic: Binding and Loosing 2

Scripture Reading: Matthew 18:1-18

Main Text:
Matthew 18:18
18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

From yesterday’s devotional, we saw that the Jubilee trumpet did not sound on its own accord (Leviticus 25:9). We err when we think things can happen even if we do nothing – we must proclaim our Jubilee before it happens. If the time of the Jubilee arrived but no one sounded the trumpet, there would be no freedom.

Blowing the horn of Jubilee is comparable with “binding the strong man” and “loosing the blessings of God upon the land”. Heaven works in partnership with the earth to release our blessings (Matthew 18:18). What we “bind” on earth is bound in Heaven. What we “forbid and declare to be improper and unlawful” is bound (Matthew 18:18 AMP). What we “loose” on earth is loosed in Heaven. You have the authority to “permit and declare proper and lawful” what is the will of God. If we don’t “loose” the blessings, they don’t flow – righteousness, health, blessings, prosperity, joy, peace and deliverance.

Peter loosed the crippled man at the Beautiful gate of the temple (Acts 3:1-9). You decree things and they are established. You are respected and responsible (Job 22:28-30).

Prayer: Pray and revoke any permit satan has to harass you.
