Month Theme: The Anointing
Topic: Amplification
Scripture Reading: Job 29:1-25
Main Text:
Psalms 91:16
With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
The anointing amplifies your natural abilities by influencing you with the supernatural power of God. The anointing preserves and amplifies believers. The anointing preserved Job’s life. After the tragedy that struck his family, it was the anointing which preserved him. Your purpose is so great that the anointing amplifies your strength and wisdom to fulfil it. The anointing drives a person hard to fulfil his or her purpose. Whilst the anointing drives people to fulfil their purposes, it also preserves them so that they are not destroyed physically, emotionally or spiritually.
Job said he would multiply his days as the sand. We can look at the extension of someone’s life as the amplification of life. It is God’s will for you to live long enough to fulfil your vision. Psalm 90:10 says that our years are seventy to eighty years. Nevertheless, we have seen great men and women of faith in the Bible die before they were seventy years old. Examples of such people are Jesus Christ, John the Baptist, Stephen and Jonathan.
In spite of the uncertainty about death, we should believe God for the best deal. Live long enough to fulfil your vision, prepare your environment for your departure and die peacefully. The Scriptures promise long life to the righteous (Psalm 91:13-16). As long as you have an unfinished task and if God wills, if you remain faithful to God you will not be cut off prematurely. If you serve the LORD, He will fulfil the number of your days (Exodus 23:25-26).
Prayer Pray and declare upon yourself that you’ll live your full years to fulfil your purpose on earth.
