Month Theme: Explode

Topic: Access to the Unknown God

Scripture Reading: Acts 17:1-23

Main Text:
Acts 17:23
23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.

The nations of the world worshipped different spirit entities but not the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Idolatry (ancestral worship), heathenism, atheism, denominationalism (without power) are common in most parts of the world.

The apostle Paul directed the people of Athens to the true God. Previously they ignorantly worshipped an unknown God (Acts 17:22-23). He gave them access to the God they did not know. The purpose of the explosion of the Holy Ghost is to give people access to the God they ignorantly worship.

For people to have access to the explosion of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we must dethrone the god of this world who makes people blind (2 Corinthians 4:3-6).

Prayer: Ask the Lord to reveal Himself to you. Pray for a personal revelation of Christ.
