On May 24, 2025, The Diakonos of Desert Pastures, Pastor Eastwood, and Mama Rosemond, together with members of the church, made a return to the Zongo community where he lived during his childhood.
It was not just a visit, it was a homecoming. With compassion and reverence, parcels were distributed to every household he once lived in, and extended generously to others in the area. Laughter echoed. Tears flowed. Stories were shared. Roots remembered.
In a world so quick to forget, Pastor Eastwood reminded us of a profound truth: Your past is not a weight, it’s a witness. A testimony. A foundation.
