23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.
The purpose of the explosion of the Holy Ghost is to give people access to the God they ignorantly worship. The apostle Paul’s ministry revealed two of the keys to having access to the unknown God.
1. Passing-by — Pass by meaning pass through, walk through or traverse. Passing by involved the act of using one’s feet spiritually or prophetically. You must physically, electronically and spiritually walk through territories to invade them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Acts 17:23). Abraham and Joshua passed through the lands they took (Genesis 13:17-18, Joshua 1:2-3).
2. Perception — “Perceive” means to look at, gaze, watch, discern, observe, acknowledge, ascertain or to be enlightened. Perception is the spiritual use of your eyes to see territories with the aim of introducing the power of the Gospel to them. Prayer walks, explorational walks and spiritual mapping are essential to the explosion of the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:17-18, Numbers 13:30).
Prayer: Pray for the explosion of the Gospel of Christ where you are.
