Topic: Devouring the House of Esau
Scripture Reading: Obadiah 1:1-21

Obadiah 1:18
18 And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it.
The contest we are engaged in with the world can be compared with the one between the house of Jacob and the house of Esau. The Church will devour the world just like house of Jacob devoured the house of Esau (Obadiah 1:16-21).
We are a fire and the world is stubble – we shall devour it. We must win the war on all fronts – personal, family, community, national, continental and universal. The house of Jacob becomes a fire through:
1. Prophecy — 1 Timothy 1:18
2. Prayer — Ephesians 6:12-18
3. Power — Acts 1:8
4. Prudence — Proverbs 8:12
5. Prosperity — Zechariah 1:17
The Church empowered by the confronting fire of the Holy Ghost, will defeat the evil agenda of satan against us. We will confront the gates of hell and make the kingdoms of this world the Kingdom of our God (Revelation 11:15).
Prayer: Pray that you will devour any evil establishment around you.
