Month Theme: Explosion

Topic: Unintentional Empowerment

Scripture Reading: Acts 10:34-48

Main Text:
Acts 10:44
44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

Unintentional empowerment is when the receivers of the empowerment do not do any special thing to receive it. Sometimes, they do not even know they have received the empowerment. The things you don’t think about, want, ask or work for are coming to you (Ephesians 3:20).

Solomon received unintentional prosperity (2 Chronicles 1:10-12). He did not ask for wealth but God added it to his request. Cornelius and his household received unintentional empowerment from their own perspective. “WHILE PETER YET SPAKE”, everything happened. Cornelius’s household received unintended and unintentional empowerment (Acts 10:44-48). It was a sudden experience.

The norm in the New Testament is the Holy Ghost coming upon people spontaneously but not forced upon them (Luke 11:11-12). Many believers get frustrated when the attempts by preachers to force them to be empowered and quit desiring the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Prayer: Pray for the release of unintentional blessings upon you.
