Theme: The Giving Grace
Topic: God Is No Respecter Of Persons
Romans 2:11
For there is no respect of persons with God.
Let me begin by stating emphatically that you can succeed anywhere. You have no excuse to fail, and if you choose to fail, no one but you, is responsible for the failure. God does not leave His people without help. There is always a strength to offset a deficiency. You must discover that strength. For instance, the visually challenged are usually more developed in their senses of hearing and smell than the rest of us.
God is no respecter of persons means, He does not consider how deprived you may feel, or how inadequate you think your resources are. He considers the grace He has made available to you. God’s plans for us are good, and He has given us enough grace to run with His purpose for us (Jeremiah 29:11). Cornelius was disadvantaged because he was a Gentile, annihilated from the people of grace, yet with his strengths – almsgiving and prayer – his family received salvation. Apostle Peter afterwards confessed that God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:30-34).
It doesn’t matter your geographical location and it’s of no gain to keep blaming your parents who did not take care of you. Pick yourself up, find that strength hidden within you, put in the needed effort, and live. A millionaire’s son has his assignment to finish, and so do you.
Prayer Assignment:
1. Pray that God will help you discover your strengths to accomplish His purpose for your life.
